Born on Queen Street, Auckland, in 2024. Growing across the North and South Islands and shipping to the world. International houses across clothing, footwear and accessories, chosen one piece at a time.

Manifesto

We do not sell everything. We sell the coat you keep for twenty years, the sneaker you wear until it falls apart, the bag your daughter asks for. Luxury and street, side by side, because good things belong together.

A note from the founder

“I wanted a store where a nurse on her first big purchase and a collector on his fortieth would get the same care. Where you could find something you had never heard of and know it was right.”

TOMI started as a list on my phone: the pieces friends kept asking about and could not find in New Zealand. Three years later the list is a store, a website and a team of stylists who still answer every message themselves. Thank you for being part of it.

How we select

Three rules we have never broken.

Worn before it is bought

Every piece is tried, washed and lived in by our buying team for a fortnight before it reaches the floor. If it does not earn its place, it does not get one.

Luxury and street, on equal terms

A Parisian overcoat and a Los Angeles hoodie can share a rail if both are made properly. We buy by quality and point of view, not by price tier.

Fewer, then better

We carry a short list of houses, not hundreds. Depth over breadth means we know every cut, every fabric and who it suits.

Queen Street opens

A 240 square metre store at the bottom of Queen Street with four houses, two fitting rooms and a coffee machine we still argue over.

The full store online, with same-day delivery across Auckland, Click & Collect, membership and the first Style Boxes.
